Manning Madison Parish, LA From Vicksburg Post, February 17, 1942 TALLULAH, La. Feb. 17.-(Special- --James V. Manning, 51, cafe operator of Tallulah. died in the veterans' hospital in Alexandria Sunday. He had been ill several months. The funeral was held at the Tallulah Baptist church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. Clarence Crow, Officiating. Interment was in the Silver Cross cemetery. As a veteran of World war No. I he served in the Argonne and Meuse engagements. He was a native of Mineral Wells. Tex. Mr. Manning leaves his wife and four children; J. P. Manning, Shreveport; James Manning, in the United States army; Tommy James Manning and Mony Jean Manning, both of Tallulah.
