Marsden were at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Marsden died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at Vicksburg Medical Center. He was 91. Mr. Marsden was a Madison Parish resident for about 55 years and was the owner and operator of Marsdens' Grocery at Talla Bena, La. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Marsden was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Traxler Marsden. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Libby Sue and Ron Tower of Vicksburg; one brother, Bill Marsden of Grand Junction, Colo.; two grandchildren, Kris Tower and Tracy Tower, both of Grand Junction, Colo.; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Charles Vining III, Kenneth Gunter, Thomas Russell, Bert Batchelor, Lloyd Erwin and Andy Vining. Honorary pallbearer was Tom Byrd.
