All rights reserved. ************************************************ Helen Logue Martin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 27, 2003 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Logue Martin, 68, were Nov. 19 in St. Edward's Catholic Church with Father D'Cruz and Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin died Nov. 17 in River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Vicksburg and had lived in Tallulah 53 years. She was a retail clothing-store operator, and was a homemaker and member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nan Peterson. Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, John Earl Martin; a son, James Albert Martin; two daughters, Marion Hopkins and Audrey Fortenberry, all of Tallulah; six grandchildren; three brothers, F.M. Logue, Jr., of Rayville, Al Logue, of Monroe, and Henry Logue, of Monroe; two sisters, Kathryn Chaney, of Vicksburg, and Joy Davis, of Start. Pallbearers were Robert Jackson, Bill Yerger, Tommy Wixson, Dick Brown, Freddy Gaumitz and Steve Gustafson.
