All rights reserved. ************************************************ Sammie Jean Mason - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, May 14, 2005 TALLULAH - Sammie Jean Mason died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was 71. Mrs. Mason was born in Baskin and had lived in Winnsboro for six years. She was a retired employee of Louisiana Child Protection Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. Survivors include one son, Herbert Michael Mason of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two daughters, Vicki Diane Rabb of Tallulah and Julia D. Newman of Winnsboro; eight brothers, Bloyce Lord of Mangham, Royce Lord of Rayville, Bobby Lord of Picayune, Miss., Billy Lord of San Antonio, Texas, Walter Jagers of Norman, Okla., Willie Jagers of Ardmore, Okla., Michael Jagers of Noble, Okla., and Steve Jagers of Newalla, Okla.; five sisters, Mary Belyea of Palmer, Texas, Louise Meyers of Wilmington, N.C., Patricia Ann Webb and Ruby Taylor, both of Norman, and Susie Kiesewetter of Oklahoma City. Services were at 11 this morning at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Pallbearers were Mike Rabb, J.C. Watson, Chuck Lord, Johnny Lord, James Lord and Charlie Ford. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.
