C. Massey Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Lowe Massey, 82, who died late Tuesday night at the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness, were held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday. Services were conducted at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Old Southern Mortuary. A native of Holcomb, Miss., she had lived in Tallulah since 1917. She was the widow of the late H. C. Massey, Tallulah Chief of Police for more than 30 years and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, J. B. Massey of Greenville, Miss.; Howard Massey of Seguin, Texas; Herbert Massey and Fred Massey both of Tallulah, a daughter, Mrs. N. A. White of Tallulah; a brother, Mr. Emmett Lowe, Tallulah, a sister, Mrs. H. S. Norris of Holcomb, Miss.; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Moss Christian, Fred Helton, Louis Nettles, Jim Sevier, J. W. Rogillio, Jack Bethea, Phillip J. Scurria, and Cliff Erwin.
