All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Laura Cline Massey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 22, 1971 Services held here for Mrs. Laura Massey Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Cline Massey, 61, of Tallulah were held at 10 a. m Monday at the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Massey died Sunday in a Vicksburg Hospital following a long illness. She was a native of Charleston, Miss. and a longtime Madison Parish resident. She was also a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. B. Massey of Tallulah; a son, John Massey Jr, of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Joy Wright of El Dorado, Ark.. and Mrs. Mary Ann Walker of Tallulah; mother, Mrs. J. B. Hogue of West Helena, Ark.; two brothers, Frank Cline of Slidell and Joe Cline of West Helena, Ark.: two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Joyner of West Helena. Ark., and Mrs. Joe McHarg of Columbus. Miss.; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Moss Christian. Clyde Clark, Ilar Osborne, H. S. Weaver, Phillip Scurria and J. T. Fulton.
