TALLULAH — Brian Lee Matlock Jr. died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 22.

Mr. Matlock was born in Bakersfield, Calif., and had lived in Tallulah for 18 years. He was an 
employee of Walnut Bayou Water Association.

Survivors include his daughter, Kaylynn Matlock of Tallulah; his parents, Brian Sr. and Sharon Matlock, 
both of Tallulah; a sister, Jennifer Matlock of Tallulah; his grandparents, Harold and Karen Murphy 
of Tallulah and Donald Shambling of Eugene, Ore.; and his fiancee, Nacole Glover of Tallulah.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. 
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at 
Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Carl J. Petty, Clifford Marvin Petty, Darryl Matlock Jr., Jimmy Olivoe, Logan Bullock, 
Richard Petty, Mark Rios and Terrell Watson.

The honorary pallbearer will be Jason Murphy.
