F. L. MAXWELL AT TRINITY CHURCH Mrs. F. L. Maxwell passed away very suddenly on Monday evening shortly after finishing her evening meal. Complaining of indigestion she was sitting by the fire in the living room of the family home when she suddenly became dizzy, and passed away immediately, the cause being an aggravated heart trouble. She was before her marriage Miss Matilde Bowie of Natchez, Miss. Mrs. Maxwell was the widow of the late F. L. Maxwell, prominent planter in this parish and father of Mrs. George Yerger, Sr., of Mound and Mrs. John Potts of Monroe. She is survived by her three devoted daughters, Mrs. Paul Arbuthnot, nee Miss Ruth Maxwell of Jackson, Miss., and two daughters who make their home in Mound, Misses Dorothy and Alma Maxwell. Funeral services were held in Trinity Episcopal Church of which she was a devout member, with the Rev. David E. Holt officiating, interment taking place later in the Vicksburg Cemetery.
