McCready - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe Morning World November 10, 1946 TALLULAH, La., Nov. 9. - (Special) - John A. McCready, 63, a native of Illinois but a logger in Madison parish for many years, died at his home here this morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Glenwood Funeral Home here, and interment will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. McCready is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Boyd and Mrs. Ed Coleman, Trout, and Mrs. Ola Bedgood, Tallulah; and four sons, Everett McCready, Norphlet, Ark., and Floyd McCready, John A. McCready, Jr., and Eugene McCready, Tallulah. Pallbearers will be "Blondy" Walker, Albert Bedgood, Orville McCready, Doyle Hutson, Leonard Baker, Jim Bray, Earl Boyd, Eulos Coleman and E. D. Hutson.
