McDonald of Tallulah were held Monday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Corley and Clyde Colten officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. McDonald was killed Saturday afternoon when the car she was driving collided head on with another automobile on I-20 near Rayville. Officers said the vehicle driven by Mrs. McDonald was proceeding west in the east-bound lane of I-20 about 2.5 miles east of Rayville when it collided with a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Lloyd D. Dunn of Tallulah. Police said Mrs. McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene and Dunn, his wife, Donna Dunn, 22, and their two-year-old daughter, Carol, were taken to the Richland Parish Hospital and later transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, where Dunn and his wife were listed in serious condition. Their daughter apparently escaped unharmed. Mrs. McDonald was alone in the vehicle she was driving. Officers said the collision occurred when Dunn, driving in the right lane of the east-bound section of the highway, attempted to pass a vehicle and collided head-on with the McDonald vehicle as he pulled into the left lane.
