All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Watson McDonald - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 26, 1968 Services Held Wednesday For Watson McDonald Funeral services for Watson McDonald, well known Madison Parish citizen who died in a Vicksburg hospital Monday morning after a long illness were held at 10 A. M. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church. Services were conducted by the Revs. John S. Hurt and Oster Daniels. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Old Southern Mortuary. He was one of Madison Parish prominent plantation owners. He was a native of Raymond, Miss., and had lived in Madison Parish for the past 42 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Keystone Sunday School Class. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louise Fuller McDonald, of Tallulah; one son, Dan McDonald, Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Dudley Pillow, Greenwood, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. L. W. Stinson, Tallulah, and Mrs. Ion Walker, Mobile, Ala.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Billy DeMoss, Clay Crawford, Moss Christian, Ion Walker, Henry Sevier, Jr., Louis Stinson, Judge Cliff Adams, and Mayor W. P. Sevier, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Members of the Keystone Sunday School Class, Albert Sevier, M. A. Wroten, Sam Fuller, Johnny Davis, R. C. Hammond, Edgar Lancaster, Jr., Buck Weaver, Lloyd Tanner, Andrew Yerger, Dr. W. K. Perks, Dr. H. E. Kellum, B. Towne and Claude Brady.
