All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Dave McGee Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 15, 1950 Funeral Services For Mr. Dave McGee Held Here Saturday Funeral services for Mr. Dave McGee, 74-year-old resident of Madison Parish, who died Thursday, Sept. 7th in a Monroe hospital following a brief illness, were held here Saturday afternoon at 2 P.M. at the Crothers Chapel, with the Rev. Shirley Briggs officiating. Interment followed in the Sliver Cross cemetery. Mr. McGee, born in South Carolina, June 15, 1876, had been a resident of this community for a number of years. Until recent years he had been engaged in farming, He was a member of the Baptist Church. Pall bearers were C. S. Lott, Emmett Ross, Roy Clark, Harry Lafferty, J. R. Sturdivant, Roy McCaa. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cordelia McGee; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Furney, Detroit, Mich.
