McGraw - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, November 11, 1935 Funeral of Late Jim McGraw in Tallulah Tuesday Jim M. McGraw, aged 65 years of Tallula, Mississippi, died in Vicksburg this morning after a short illness. Mr. McGraw had resided at Tallulah for the past eight years, where he had been engaged in farming. He was well known and had many friends who will learn of his passing with feelings of deep regret. Deceased is survived by his wife Mrs. Mattie McGraw; two daughters, Mrs. T. G., Morris of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee, and Mrs. W. W. Stewart; of Tallulah, La.; one brother, T. J. McGraw, of Tallulah, La., all of whom are the recipients of much sympathy in their bereavement. The funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, from Fisher's funeral chapel at 11 o'clock with interment in the cemetery at Tallulah, La., at 12:l5 p.m. The Reverend Floyd Lewis, Methodist Minister of Mayersville, will officiate. The pallbearers will be Jim Heath, Sharkey Stewart, Ben White, George Bradshaw, E. Mann and Will Birdsong.
