Betty Jean McHand - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Betty Jean McHand died Friday, Nov 8, 1996, at Richardson Memorial Hospital in Rayville. She was 61.

Mrs. McHand was born in Epps, and lived in Tallulah for 40 years. She was a member of Meadowgrove 
Baptist Church in Tallulah and was a retired employee of Madison Parish Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McHand.

She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Byrd, Sara McHand, Liz McHand and Kathy McHand, all of 
Tallulah; one brother, Roy McPherson, Jr. of Sterlington; two sisters, Odelle Tatum of Delhi and 
Lou Duchesne of Monroe; and three grandchildren, Susan Byrd, Kimberly Byrd and Bradly McHand, all 
of Tallulah.

Services were held Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at 2 p.m. at Crothers-Glenwood Chapel with the Revs. 
Sammy Tamburo and Bernard Duchesne officiating. Burial followed at Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her nephews.
