All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Emma Jean McKinnie - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 27, 1976 Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jean McKinnie, 39, of Tallulah were held at 10 a.m. at Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McKinnie died Saturday at her residence from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Dr. George M. Webb, Madison Parish coroner. A Locust Bayou, Ark., native she had been a Tallulah resident for the past 22 years. She was a member of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Charles R. McKinnie of Tallulah; a son, Robin McKinnie of Tallulah; a daughter, Miss Cynthia McKinnie of Tallulah; and four brothers, W. T. Gorman and Merle Gorman, both of Pine Bluff, Ark., Dr. Raymond Gorman of Cabot, Ark., and Jett Gorman of Foreman, Ark. Pallbearers were Tommy Wixson, Robert Kivett, l. T. Crothers, Cordes Williamson, D'Elmer Williamson, Joe Yerger, Wayne Neuroth and Phillip Scurria Jr.
