All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Annie McKnight - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 2, 1959 Madison Resident Dies In Sleep Christmas Night Funeral services for Mrs. Annie McKnight, 67, who died in her sleep Thursday night, December 25 at her home on Bear Lake road west of Tallulah, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday. She was a native of Liberty, Miss., and had lived in Madison Parish for the past 33 years. Mrs. McKnight was a member of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Funeral Services were held at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. John Meek officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, W. B. McKnight; a son, J. B. McKnight, Tallulah ; a sister, Mrs. Bernice McKnight, Liberty, Miss.; a brother, Bernard Marsalis, Jackson, Miss., and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Marvin Ingram, A. W. Cox. Roy McCaa, Herman Thornton, Herman Kayzar and Paul Helms.
