McKnight - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star February 17, 1970 TALLULAH (Special) — Funeral services for John B. McKnight, 61, machinist at Chicago Mill for several years, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Willow Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ray Smith and Grover Smith officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home here. Mr. McKnight was a native of Amite County, Miss., but had been a resident of Madison Parish for 40 years. He was a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bertha McKnight; two daughters, Miss Julia McKnight of Tallulah and Mrs. Darlene Cherene of Bossier City; two sons, Wayne McKnight and Leonard Earl McKnight, both of Tallulah; and one grandchild.
