All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Connie McCoy Medlin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, August 27, 1942 MADISON PARISH FARMER EXPIRES TALLULAH, La., Aug. 27--Connie McCoy Medlin, 55 Madison parish farmer and storekeeper, died at the Vicksburg Hospital last night following an illness of two years. Mr. Medlin had been a resident of Madison pariah for seven years, having come from Georgia. He is survived by his wife, five children, Sergeant R. Medlin, Keesler Field; Martha, Mack, Christine and Mary Evelyn, all of Tallulah; three brothers, Dr. J. Medlin, Marion, La., and Dr. Ira Roy Medlin, Tallulah, Dr. M. Medlin, Newellton, La., four sisters, Mrs. H. E. Cook, Mrs. J. B. Thigpen and Mrs. S. S. Stockman all of Bay Springs, Miss., and Mrs. W. P. Gregory of Tallulah. Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock this afternoon at the Tallulah Methodist church. Rev. Henry Rickey, Methodist minister, and Rev. Clarence Crow, Baptist minister, will officiate.
