All rights reserved. ******************************************************************************************** Michael "Mike" Travis Melton, Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA October 18, 2016 Michael "Mike" Travis Melton, Jr. November 29, 1960 - October 15, 2016 Funeral services for Mr. Michael "Mike" Travis Melton, Jr., age 55, will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 2:00 P.M., at the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, with Bro. Jim McCool and Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mike lived in Tallulah for most of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making people laugh, and helping others. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Williams. Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Trudy Crow Melton, one daughter, Jenny Melton Washington, one son, Lance Travis Melton and wife Samantha, his father, Mickey Melton and wife Eula Bell, one sister, Debra Melton Mahoney and husband Eddie, four step-sisters, Terry Ashley, Kay Ashley, Shirley Cleveland and husband Tommy, and Chris Hicks and husband Rusty, three grandchildren, Jayden and Jordan Washington and Aria Melton, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Pallbearers will be Eugene Mahoney, Joe Jobe, Kirk Morley, Shane Toney, Chase Brown, and Clay Ashley.
