All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Billy Ray Miles - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 5, 1996 Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Miles, age 51, of Opelousas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 1996, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, Tallulah. Rev. Thomas Cherry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tallulah. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Miles died Tuesday, June 4, 1996 in the Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, La. He was a native of Madison Parish and had lived in Opelousas for four years. He was a carpenter. Survivors include: three daughters, Teresa Nichols, Winnsboro, LA.; Tracey Chappell, Wisner, LA.; Pricilla Ann Miles, Arkansas; two sons, Billy Grayson Aswell Miles and Lawrence Ray Miles both of Wisner; five grandchildren; three sisters, Flora Toney, Tallulah; Darlene Atchley, Vicksburg; Mary Ann Shelnutt, Gulfport, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: James Atchley, Bobby Atchley, Jamie Chandler, Jeff Taylor, Jamie Moore, and Kenny Moore.
