All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Florence Miles - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 6, 1967 Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Florence Miles Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Miles, 74, were held at 10 a. m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in Hall Cemetery near Start, under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Miles died Sunday afternoon in a Vicksburg Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Richland Parish and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the last 40 years. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Ed Miles, Alton; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Olivoe, and Mrs. Rowan Freeman, both of Tallulah; one brother, one sister, Mrs. Charlie Winn, Transylvania; one half-brother, Frank Moore, Bastrop; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grand-children. Pallbearers were Henry Olivoe, Jr., Thomas Freeman, James Freeman, Huey Miles, Edward James Miles, and Billy Ray Miles.
