All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Cary "Sonny" Boyce Miller, Jr., Madison Parish, Louisiana Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA 8/15/2018 Cary "Sonny" Boyce Miller, Jr. March 28, 1938 - August 14, 2018 Funeral services for Mr. Cary Boyce “Sonny” Miller will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Tallulah. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Sonny went to his heavenly home on August 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Sonny was born on March 28, 1938 to the late Boyce and Mary Miller in Black Oak, Arkansas. He was a member of the Caraway High School class of 1957. He excelled in baseball and basketball throughout his youth. He went on to Mississippi State to play both sports. Sonny served his country in the Army, stationed in Germany. After the stint in the Army, he farmed and continued that throughout his life. Sonny coached baseball at TA for a few years. He was an avid sports fan, especially for MSU. Sonny was a faithful member of The Church for 30 years and he requested that memorial gifts be sent to his church. Along with his parents, Sonny was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy M. Gregory. Survivors include his wife, Mildred H. Miller, his sons, Hunter Miller and wife, Donna, Curtis Miller and wife, Laura, Boyce Miller and wife, Paige, and Bailey Miller and wife, Meredith, his daughters, Charlotte Beth Dukes and husband, Ronnie, Carrie Holmes, and Jennie Henry and husband, James, his grandchildren, Preston Walker, Clayton Miller, Clayton Holmes, McCrae Miller, Laurel Ann Holmes, Harley Beth Miller, Sidnee Beth Holmes, Caroline Miller, Carrie Beth Miller, Taylor Kennedy, Shelby Kennedy, Sara Kennedy, Mason Miller, Cooper Miller, Michael Henson, Phillip Henson, Laura Williams, Thomas Henry, Miriam Hewitt, Jennifer Henry, and Sally Henry, and his great grandchildren, Mikey Henson, Lane Henson, Alli Claire Henson, and Layken Miller.
