V Miller Parish Resident, Dies Recently Mrs. Jessie Virginia Miller, age 73, died in her sleep early Wednesday morning, November 30, at her home near here. She had been ill for some time. She was a member of the Montrose Baptist Church, and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past twenty years. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Montrose Baptist Church with the Rev. J. A. Bryant in charge. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers were John Watts, Wilburn Collins, George Hopkins, Walter Sealy, Harold Post and A. L. Harvey. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, H. B. Miller of Tallulah; three sons, L. S. Miller, Clarks, La., Alex Hogan, Benton, La., and Tech. Sgt. T. W. Miller of Gulfport, Miss. ; six daughters, Mrs. Jim Cosse, Mrs. L. B. Huckabay, Mrs. W. A. Harvey, all of Tallulah; Mrs. Dranion Crouch of Golden Meadow, La., Mrs. Mary Sistrunk of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. James M. Waltman of Langdon, N. D.; three brothers, six sisters, seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
