Millikin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 6, 1955 John P. Millikin Dies Of Heart Attack Monday John P. Millikin, 59, long-time resident of Waverly, died of a heart attack Monday. Funeral services were held, at the First Methodist Church in Delhi at 3 p. m., Tuesday with the Rev. Don Wineinger officiating. Ile was assisted by the Rev. W. A. Dearman. Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Delhi with Masonic graveside rites. Catron-Gay Funeral Home of Delhi, had charge of the arrangements. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Millikin of Waverly; one son, Jack Hightower Millikin, Bastrop; two brothers, Morton of New Orleans and R. S. of Oak Grove. Pallbearers were Audrey McKinney, Maurice McKinney, Colie Coltharp, E. C. McCalip, Baskin Parks and Clyde A. Donaldson. Honorary pallbearers were doctors at the Delhi Clinic and all friends of the family.
