Kathleen Neuroth Mills, age 95, passed away at her home in Tallulah, Louisiana, on January 22, 2023. She was born to Edward Neuroth and Irwina Neuroth Tryon in Titonka, Iowa, on March 3, 1927. She graduated from high school in Wesley, Iowa. After graduation, she moved to Tallulah, Louisiana, where she met and married the love of her life, Warren W. Mill, Sr. "Curly", on May 3, 1946.

Kathleen and Curly resided in Tallulah most of their married life until his death in 1976. Kathleen was a devoted mother serving the Lord by providing her children with a daily example of Christ’s love for them. She was an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church for 75 years in Tallulah. She was employed at Tallulah Academy for many years, then she began traveling with her “girlfriends”. She was an avid Bridge player in three different clubs. Most of us remember her for her famous Peach Cobbler which was a must at every family reunion.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Curly; son, Michael Mills; granddaughter; Ashley Brinson; and great-grandson, Colin Williams.

She is survived by her sons, John (Rosalie) Mills, San Antonio, Texas; Ed Mills, Tallulah, Louisiana; Tom (Renee) Mills, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Warren Mills, Jr., Dallas, Texas; and daughter, Betty Ann (Gary) Thompson, Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Brent Mills, Ryan Mills, Chad Mathews, Amy (Sloan) Williams, Lindsay Mills, Landon Mills, David (Michelle) Mills, Lauren (Brandon) Walker, and Kaitlyn (Dale) Wicks; great-grandchildren, Christian Mills, Natalie Mills, Meagan Brinson, Whitney (Rolland) Villanueva, Hunter Brinson, Carson Williams, Caden Williams, Cole Williams, Callie Williams, Bryson Mills, Kyler Mills, Grayson Walker, Wesley Walker, and Landry Walker; great-great-grandchild, Benjamin Brinson; and her brothers, Michael Tryon, Monroe, Louisiana; Gary Tryon, Farmerville, Louisiana; and Frank Tryon, Whitewright, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Edward Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with the funeral service at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in Tallulah beside her beloved husband, Curly.

Pallbearers will be Landon Mills, Bobby Reynolds, Lemar Bullard, Vince Corulla, Bruce Neuroth, and Darryl Ellerbee. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mike Bailey, Jay Bailey, Dr. Colin Bailey, Dr. Sid Bailey, and Dr. Tommy Neumann.
