All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ralph Earl Minchew - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 25, 2008 TALLULAH -- Ralph Earl Minchew died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 65. Mr. Minchew was born in Strong, Ark., and had lived in the Tallulah area for 30 years. He was a farmer and an Army veteran. He was a member of Waverly Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Tammy Thompson of Newellton, Tanya Kirk of Mound, Lisa Minchew of West Monroe and Allison Toney of Tallulah; two brothers, James Minchew of Goodwill, La., and Daniel Minchew of Baskin, La.; three sisters, Mary Swazey of Gilbert, La., Irma Griffith of Fort Necessity, La., and Debra Scobee of Winnsboro, La.; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Waverly Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service. Pallbearers will be Chris Beam, Jay Morgan, Randy Morgan, James Fulford, Jerry Trulove and Donnie Remore. Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Herman.
