All rights reserved. ************************************************ Irene Minsky - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post October 2, 2003 Irene Minsky died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at Heritage House Nursing Center. She was 89. A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., Miss Minsky had been a Tallulah resident most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Howard and Bessie Bloom Minsky. She was a member of the Anshe Chesed congregation and Temple Sisterhood. Miss Minsky was preceded in death by three sisters, Geraldine M. Rankin, Sylvia Meites and Genevieve Caldwell; and two brothers, Leon Minsky and Jerome Minsky. She is survived by an adopted son, Dr. Gerald M. Rankin of Vicksburg; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Riles Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Michael Rankin officiating. Burial will follow at the Anshe Chesed Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Richard Marcus, Stan Kline, Ted Levi, Britt Fugler, Rich Wilson, John Palmerton, Mel Cohen and Zach Zachery.
