All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Grace Furr Mitchell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 2, 1991 Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Furr Mitchell, 68, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell died Friday at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. She worked as a legal secretary and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Polly Sharrah of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Lewis B. Furr of Bossier City and James E. Furr of Delhi; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael Lancaster, Jeff Goza, Bill Alexander, Bob Moreau, Pat Bullard and Tommy Dunning. Honorary pallbearers were Edgar H. Lancaster Jr., Cliff C. Adams and Thomas A. Neumann. The family requests that memorials be made to the Madison Parish Library or the American Cancer Society.
