Montgomery - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 1, 1984 Mrs. Ethlyn B. Montgomery, 77, died Sunday at a Vicksburg, Miss., hospital after a long illness. Services were at 3 p.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Ed Robertson and Keith Milligan officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. A Newellton native, Mrs. Montgomery had lived in Tallulah for 55 years and was a former director of Madison Parish Department of Public Welfare. She was a teacher in the Madison Parish School System. She was a former member of Board of Trustees of All-Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg, former president of Monroe Convocation of Episcopal Women and president of Trinity Episcopal Church Women. Survivors include a son, Thomas H. Montgomery of Vista, Calif.; a daughter, Flora Trieschmann of Lake Providence; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leo Miller, Dr. James P. Guerriero, Barry Maxwell, Charles Gladney, Carroll Regan, Judge Cliff Adams, Travis McNeel and Robert W. Gandy. Honorary pallbearers were the Trinity Episcopal vestry, James Garrett and David Evans.
