Walton Ray
Moore - Madison Parish, Louisiana
The Crothers-Glenwood
Funeral Home Tallulah, LA December 2025
Walton Ray
Moore, 63, of Tallulah, Louisiana, succumbed to cancer Saturday, December 6,
2025, surrounded by family. Born April 24, 1962, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Perry
Lynn Moore and Mary Sue Perry, he grew up with a big heart and bigger smile.
For 37 years, he shared his life with Pam Mahoney Moore, the love of his life.
He cherished his children, Brandy Henson (Phillip), Jonathan Moore (Jessica),
Caty Nowlin (Tim), and delighted in his seven grandchildren and one great
grandchild. He is survived by his mother, Sue Perry, and siblings Cynthia
Junkin, Wanda Ellis, Molly Newman, and Roy Moore. Ray devoted himself to family
and work. Always hard working, he gave 20 years to Helena Chemical Company. Ray
was the kind of man who lit up a room and it’s no surprised that he was loved
by so very many.
A visitation will be held for Ray Monday, December 8, 2025, from 6:00 to
8:00 PM at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana. The funeral
service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist
Church in Tallulah, with Bro. Todd Perry officiating. Burial will follow the
funeral service at McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Paul Mahoney, Larry Mahoney, Nolan Mahoney, III, David
Cobb, Justin Mahoney, and Josh Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Wally Lopez
and Justin Ellis.
