All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Catherine Michelle Morris - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Jackson Clarion-Ledger, March 10, 2010 Catherine Michelle Morris, 35, passed away Monday, March 7, 2010, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation is 5 until 8 pm Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 12 noon on Friday, March 12, 2010, with a 2 pm service in the chapel. Burial will follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Sam Simpson will officiate. Michelle was a native of Louisiana and has been a resident of Rankin County for the past 20 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah, LA. Michelle was a certified Medical Technician, certified scuba diver and a huge soccer fan. She was a graduate of Brandon High School, attended Hinds Community College and University of Louisiana in Monroe. She was a scholar in advanced study of History. Michelle was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends that loved her deeply. Her grandfather, Jerry Ostadal, her grandmother, Margie Shultz Morris Davenport and her sister, Lesley Ann Morris Reeves Evans, preceded her in death. Survivors include her parents, Wesley and Cathy Ostadal Morris of Brandon; son, Wesley M. Morris of Brandon; grandmother, Charlene Ostadal of Catlettsburg, KY; niece, Amber Michelle Reeves of Brandon; great nephew, Tristan Reeves; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Elizabeth Ostadal of Madisonville, LA; cousin, Jacob Ostadal and her aunt and also Godmother, Ann Cossett of Catlettsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be Brandon Reeves, Thomas Diaz, Corbin Williamson, Matt Smith, Andrew Baxter and Anthony Baxter. Memorials may be made to Crossgates Baptist Church, 8 Crosswoods Road, Brandon, MS 39042.
