All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Theodosia Porter Mounger - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Jackson Clarion-Ledger, February 28, 2010 Theodosia Porter Mounger, 87 died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be 10 am Monday, March 1, 2010 until 11 am services at Grace Episcopal Church in Canton with burial at 3:00pm in Oaklawn Cemetery in Hattiesburg. Mrs. Mounger was born in Lambert, MS and grew up in Clarksdale, MS where was educated in the public schools. She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi, and in 1950 married Harvey Thompson Mounger who preceded her in death in 2007. She lived in Tallulah, LA for 45 years where she was an elementary school teacher and a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church. In 1999 she moved to Canton, MS. Survivors include: daughter Sallie McGee and husband Mike of Canton; sister, Enola Donelson and husband Andrew of Canton; sister-in-law, Betty Porter of Clarksdale; grandchildren, Michael McGee, Jr., May Vaughan McGee, and Richard McGee.
