NAYLOR IS DEAD AT TALLULAH TALLULAH, La., July 29 - Fred D. Naylor, 70, was found dead in bed at his home here early Sunday morning. He had complained of a slight attack of indigestion Saturday evening but was resting comfortably that night. He evidently died about midnight. Mr. Naylor was a native of Three Rivers, Mich., but had resided in Tallulah for the past 26 years. Funeral services took place from the family home at 6 o'clock Sunday noon with the Rev. Skardon D'Aubert, of Trinity Episcopal church officiating. Interment followed in Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. Naylor is survived by his wife, two sons, Rodney and Lionel Naylor, a daughter, Mrs. Fred McDuff and grandson, Fred Naylor McDuff, all of Tallulah. Two brothers, Dolph Naylor, Milwaukee, Wis., Clem Naylor, Kalamazoo, Mich., and three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Spangler, Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Paul Jones, National City, Cal., and Mrs. Rebecca Schoonmaker, Kalamazoo, Mich., also survive. The pall bearers were A. J. Sevier, D. H. Allen, S. B. Bettis, E. P. Jones, R. R. Spigener and Polk McDonald. From Madison Journal August 2, 1935 F. D. NAYLOR DIES SUNDAY MORNING WHILE SLEEPING Found Dead by Wife When Attempt Was Made To Awaken Him Fred D. Naylor, 70 years of age, was found dead in bed at his home early Sunday morning apparently as the result of a slight attack of indigestion, Mr. Naylor suffered the attack early in the evening but was resting comfortably at 10:30 Saturday night. He evidently died about midnight, but several hours elapsed before his death was discovered. Mr. Naylor had for the past 26 years made his home in Tallulah but prior to that time he lived in Three Rivers, Michigan. Funeral services, which were attended by a large crowd, took place from the family residence at 6 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Skardon D'Aubert of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Interment followed in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Naylor is survived by his widow; two sons, Rodney and Lionel Z. Naylor; a daughter, Mrs. Fred McDuff; a grandson, Fred Naylor McDuff, all of Tallulah; two brothers, Dolph Naylor of Milwaukee, Wis.., Clem Naylor of Kalamazoo, Mich., and three sisters, Mrs. Paul Jones of National City, Cal. , and Mrs. Rebecca Schoomaker of Kalamazoo, Mich.
