All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Leonard Paul Neumann Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 13, 1998 Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Paul Neumann Sr., age 86, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, at First Baptist Church, Tallulah, with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Neumann died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., following a brief illness. He was born in Rice County, Minn., and had lived in Madison Parish for 66 years. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include four sons: Robert A. "Bobby" Neumann of Vicksburg, Miss., Daniel E. Neumann of Lafayette, La., Dr. Thomas A. Neumann and Dr. Leonard P. Neumann Jr., both of Tallulah; two daughters, Nancy Brinson and Betty Ann Roberson, both of Tallulah; two brothers, Donald O. Neumann and Virgil Neumann, both of Tallulah; 19 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, any memorial may be made to First Baptist Church or to a church of choice. Also, Mr. Neumann wished that anyone may make a memorial donation to the Madison Parish Police Jury to be used to improve Walnut Bayou and Brushy Bayou drainage problems for the parish. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
