All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lawrence Oliveaux From Tallulah Madison Journal February 14, 1974 Funeral services were held Tuesday for Lawrence Oliveaux, 70, at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Corley officiating. Burial was in Hall Cemetery in Alto. Mr. Oliveaux died Sunday at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, after a long illness. He was a native of Rayville and had been a resident of Madison Parish for 49 years. Mr. Oliveaux was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nara Oliveaux of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Lola M. Shipley of Mangham, and Mrs. Lucille Miles, of Tallulah; one son, Marvin Oliveaux of Slidell; one sister, Mrs. Alice Wynn of Transylvania; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
