T. "Mattie" Palmer, 74, of Tallulah, who died Friday in her home will be held at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. She was the mother of a Shreveport woman. Officiating will be the Rev. David L. Corley, pastor. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Caruthers Funeral Home. Mrs. Palmer was born in Shreveport and had resided in Tallulah for the past several years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include a son, Trent Palmer Jr. of Covington; two daughters, Mrs. Robert L. Mitchell of Shreveport and Mrs. A. H. Willett of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Edward T. Broadnax of Monroe and Mrs. Frank Harrington of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
