Panquin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 10, 1961 Funeral Services for C. H. Panquin Held Last Friday Funeral services for Curtis H. Panquin, 70, who died Thursday of last week in a Delhi clinic were held in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meeks of Goodwill, officiating, and the Rev. Bobby Brown of Tallulah, assisting. Interment followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Panquin had been caretaker at the Tallulah fair grounds. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Belle Panquin, Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Curtis Miller and Mrs. Lee Gunn, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Talbert Friday, Bossier City, and Mrs. J. W. Mooney, Odessa, Texas; one son, J. V. Panquin, Tallulah; three brothers, "Doc" Panquin, Hamburg, Ark., Sam Panquin and Lee Panquin, both of Bastrop; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Pardue, Bastrop; 21 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bob Laird, Rupert Harmon, T. C. Hancock, Roy Erwin, M. A. Wroten and W. P. Sevier, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were all his grandsons.
