All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Charles Fuller Parker, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 8, 1951 Charles Fuller Parker, Sr. Charles Fuller Parker, Sr., 57 year-old native of Madison Parish died at the Veterans Hospital, Augusta, Ga., Thursday, May 31st, following an illness of 19 years. Although he had been away from this community for a number of years, he maintained Tallulah as his home. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral Services were held Sunday afternoon, June 3rd, at 4 o'clock at Crothers Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Shirley Briggs, officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were M. L. Coleman, Jerry Parker, Warren Parker, Buster Parker, Felix Camorse, Parker Humble, all his nephews. He is survived by five brothers, Jeff R. Parker, Frank R. Parker. both of Monroe, La.; Matt H. Parker, Sterlington, La.; Jim Parker, Tallulah, La.; Andrew H. Parker, Lisbon, La. ; four sisters, Mrs. J. L. Humble, Mrs. Myrtie Lee Thompson. Mrs. M. L. Coleman, Mrs. R. L. Jacobs, all of Monroe, La.; one. son, Charles F. Parker, Jr., and one grandson, Charles F. Parker, III.
