All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Pearl May Parker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 30, 1971 Rites held here for Mrs. Parker Mrs. Clarence Parker. 80, of Tallulah, died Thursday at Delhi Hospital after a brief illness. She had lived here for the past 35 years and was a member of the Madison Parish chapter of Eastern Star. Funeral services were held Friday at Willow Bayou Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Revs. Grover Smith and H. G. Hammond officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home here. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. W. O. Wiggins. Mrs. Herman Thornton, Mrs. O. M. Gunn, all of Tallulah; Mrs. B. F. Foster of Georgetown, Mrs. T. R. Wiggins of Baton Rouge and Mrs. R. S. Freeman of Homer; three sons, Saniford Parker, Winifred Parker, both of Tallulah, and Clarence Parker of Northeast, Md.; three sisters; Mrs. H. Johnson, Mrs. Fred Graves, both of Tallulah and Mrs. Tommy Harian of Winnfield; two brothers; Tom Wise of Atlanta and Ellie Wise of Montgomery; 29 grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. F. Brown. Richard Marshall. Charles Arneson, Armon Cox, Horace Russell and E. L. Fowler.
