All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Lamar "Foots" Parks - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 18, 1998 Funeral services for Mr. Lamar "Foots" Parks, age 89, of Tallulah, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Howard and J. D. Favors officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Parks died Tuesday night. Dec. 8. 1998, in the Delhi Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Rover, Ark., and has lived in Madison Parish for 40 years. He was a retired blacksmith and a member of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Lamar Parks of Oak Grove, La.; one daughter, Patsy Reed of Glen Allan, Miss.: four grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
