Patterson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 17, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth P. Patterson, 93, were held Friday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Price officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson died Tuesday, Feb. 9 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Monroe after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Mississippi and was a resident of Tallulah for 70 years. She had been a resident of Monroe for the past seven years. She was a retired farmer, a member of the DAR, a homemaker and a member of the Tallulah First United Methodist Church. She is survived by six nephews, including Richard Powell and George McDonald of Tallulah, and six nieces, including Pat Antley of Waverly. Great nephews served as pallbearers.
