All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Christine Ross Paulette - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post January 4, 1949 Mrs. Paulette Of Tallulah Will Be Buried There Today Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Ross Paulette, 38, who died Saturday night, were scheduled at the Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. G. T. Shamburger, pastor of the Little Bethel Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Paulette had lived in Madison Parish for many years. She was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Paulette; a daughter, Shelby Ann Paulette; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Ross of Tallulah; five brothers, A. L. Ross, Transylvania, La., J. D. Ross of Delhi, S. A. Ross of Lake Providence, R. M. Ross of Aiken,. S. C., and C. O. Ross of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Wroten of Tallulah and Mrs. Alma Estes of Atlanta, Ga. Burial will be made in the Delhi Cemetery. From Tallulah Madison Journal January 7, 1949 Funeral Services For Mrs. Paulette Are Held Tuesday Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Christine Paulette, 38, who died Saturday night, January 1 in a Vicksburg hospital following a brain operation. Mrs. Paulette, the wife of Leonard Paulette of Madison Parish, was born in New Hebron, Miss., and resided in this community since her marriage. She was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist church. Services were conducted at the Crothers Chapel at 2 o'clock, with Rev. G. T. Shamburger, Pastor of the Little Bethel Baptist church, officiating. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery of Delhi. Pallbearers included : Ernest Stewart, Jim Sevier, William Powell, John Frank Olvey, H. E. Ervin, D. P. Bullard, Wilburn Collins, L. Fatheree.
