All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Willie Sherman Peeples - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 19, 1970 Heart attack claims Mrs. Willie Peeples Mrs. Willie Sherman Peeples, 61, elementary school teacher in Tallulah for the past 18 years, died Saturday at her residence following an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were at 10:00 a. m. Sunday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Graveside services followed at the New Cleveland Cemetery at Cleveland, Miss. Before moving to Tallulah, Mrs. Peeples was a teacher in Greenville, Miss., and Bolivar County, Miss. Survivors include her husband, Dick Peeples of Tallulah; a son, Richard Peeples, of Tallulah; three sisters, Mrs. D. D. Wood, of Tallulah, Mrs. N. V. Brown of Cleveland, Miss., Mrs R. D. Williams of Starkville, Miss. Pallbearers were M. A. Phillips, M. W. Washburn, I. T. Crothers, Bob Williams, Durwood Wilhite, and R. G. Waugh.
