Mrs. Peters was born in Lilly, La., July 18, 1912. She was married to Ben J. Peters of Tallulah and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by her husband; five sons, Barney D. Peters, San Bernardino, Calif., Paul E. Peters, Fort Worth, Texas, James Ward Peters, Dallas, Texas, Curtis C. Peters and Johnny R. Peters of Tallulah; two daughters, Ida Upchurch, Baton Rouge, .Julia Mae Peters, Pineville; one sister Ola Mae Johnson, Lumberton, Texas.; two brothers, Coy Butler, Harrisonburg, La., Lois Butler, Arp, Texas; and seven grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
