All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Josephine Yerger Pettey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 9, 1989 Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Yerger Pettey, 81, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. David Luckett officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Pettey died Friday at Vicksburg Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Millikin Bend and a resident of Tallulah for 55 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include two sons, Maxwell Yerger Jr. of New York City, N.Y. and Dr. Joseph W. Yerger of Tallulah; one brother, Thomas Williamson of Winnsboro; and three granddaughters. Pallbearers were Carroll Regan, Wayne Elliott, Donald Walker, Ed Paul, Edgar Lancaster, Pete Sanders, Billy Post and Kirk Morley.
