Mrs. Annie Krueger Pettit, age 79, of Midland, North Carolina, went to Heaven January 26, 2018.

 

Owner and hair dresser of Ann's Beauty Salon from 1971 to 2016, she always showed a love and passion for her customers and career. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and Ladies Guild and volunteered many years picking up food to assist those in need in the community.

 

Born February 9, 1938, in Tallulah, Louisiana, the daughter of the late William and Cleta Krueger, she is survived by her husband, William E. Pettit; sons, Anthony Pettit and William M. Pettit; daughter, Lynn Starnes and husband, Russell; daughter, Catherine Church; grandchildren, Daniel Starnes and wife, Kristina, Christy Church, and Dustin Starnes; great-granddaughter, Finley Starnes; and sisters, Mable Monk, Mary Doss, and Florence Muller.

 

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, North Carolina. A funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4207 Shamrock Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.Top of Form
