All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Bernice Franklin Phillips - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, June 1, 2012 TALLULAH — Bernice Franklin Phillips died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 91. Mrs. Phillips was born in Crowville and had live in Tallulah for 80 years. She was a retired cafeteria manager and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Delia M. Trichell of Tallulah and Patricia Wilhite of Haughton, La.; two sons, Arthur Wayne Thigpen of Tallulah and Dexter Phillips of Alexandria; two brothers, Hubert Franklin of Marion, La., and Benny Franklin of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifton Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 1 until the service at the funeral home.
