All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Calvin Pierce - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post September 22, 2012 TALLULAH — Calvin Pierce of Transylvania, La., died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. He was 57. Mr. Pierce was a cattle producer and a member of Transylvania Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Janet Laird Pierce; a son, Clay Laird Pierce; and three brothers, Milton, Steve and Andy Pierce, all of Natchitoches, La. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Jeff Eagles and the Rev. Bill Bearden officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Gary Johns, Marty Owens, Harvey Patton, Keith Myers, Larry Buroughs and Lamar Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Walters, Andy Vining, Freddy Payne, Lamar Perry, and all of his team roping friends.
