Pierce - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 18, 1994 Services for Gordon L. Pierce of Tallulah were held this morning at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. David Herrington officiating. Burial was at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Pierce died Monday, May 16, 1994 at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 56. He was a native of San Saba, Texas, and had lived in Tallulah for one year He was a retired chief warrant officer in the U.S. Coast Guard with 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Savage Pierce of Tallulah; two daughters, Lori Rae Christian of Tallulah and Angela Michelle Clark of Belton, Texas; four granddaughters; one brother, Raymond Pierce of Trenton, Texas; one aunt, Gladys Pierce of Belton; one nephew and a number of cousins. Pallbearers were Wayne Savage, Terry Savage, Tom King, Gene King, Allan Mayeux and Alfred Savage Jr.
