PINNEY DIES SUNDAY AT HER TALLULAH HOME Native Of Ohio Lived in Tallulah For Thirty Years TALLULAH, La., May 28-Mrs. Lillie Bodin Pinney, 83, well known resident of Tallulah for many years and widow of the late D. R. Pinney, retired merchant and lumberman, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myles Hopkins, Sunday morning. She was a native of Amelia, Ohio, and had resided in Tallulah since 1920. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the home, 503 Thelma street, at 2 o'clock today, with Rev. John F. Kilpatrick officiating, assisted by Rev. Shirley Briggs. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Devonne Payne, R. C. Gaines, P. B. Thigpen, Jr., Herbert Day, Jr., Walter Scott, Jr., J. R. Linton. Mrs. Pinney is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Hopkins; a granddaughter, Mrs. H. E. Nobles of New Orleans; a great-grandson, Howard E. Nobles, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Charles Glieck, and a brother, Louis Bodin, both of Cincinnati, O.
